No, we only photograph one wedding a day. When you book your day with us, we actually block out the entire day on our calendar so no one else can even book an appointment. This allows us to focus solely on you for your big day!

We are fast! You will receive your wedding photos within 4 weeks! Now that’s what we call service! We also even post some sneak peeks to our Facebook page as soon as the next day. 🙂

Yes, you will receive a release document that will allow you to print your wedding photos anywhere you’d like. You are also able to order professional prints from Kayden Studios through your private online gallery.

When we first began our business in 2007 we started shooting as K and D Photography. It actually got kind of confusing since is sort of sounded like ‘candy’ when said too fast. We decided we needed something a little more unique and decided to combine our names into one name. Kara + Denis = Kayden. Yes, I know what you are thinking. Where did the ‘y’ come from. Well, we liked that spelling better. And the letter ‘y’ means ‘and’ in Spanish right?

No, we believe in only focusing on our specialty – still portraits. We don’t want to sacrifice the quality of our photos by trying to do too many different things.

Yes, we are a licensed and insured wedding photography studio.

Yes, a payment of 50% of your package amount is required upon booking to hold your wedding date. The remaining balance is due 30 days prior to your wedding date.

Yes, and we bring back up equipment too. We photograph with professional-grade Canon cameras and a full assortment of lenses and lighting equipment.

Yes, we accept all major credit cards, and a 2.5% transaction fee will apply. We also accept cash and checks.

Your images will be available in your online gallery for a minimum of one year after your wedding.

We currently work from our home studio in Yorba Linda.

Our pricing changes to reflect supply and demand, so pricing is valid for 30 days. In order to lock in these rates, we recommend booking with us sooner rather than later.

We average about 100 images per hour for a typical wedding, so an 8 hour wedding will generally result in 800 images. We color correct and lightly retouch every single image.

Since we only book a limited number of weddings each year to allow us to give the best possible service to our couples, we don’t offer any discounts. We do book up completely, so booking your date with us as soon as possible is recommended.

For all weddings we work together as a team, but for most portrait sessions it is typically one photographer.

If the final product results in a tangible good (flash drive, DVD, album), we are required by law to charge sales tax at our local rate. You have the option to forego these items and save some money on sales tax.

Kara started shooting with professional wedding photographers at the age of fifteen. Her dad, Denis has been taking photos since the 70’s. In 2007, Kara and Denis decided to start doing this professionally as a team and began their father-daughter photography business, Kayden Studios.

We have photographed at many venues in our area, so there is a good chance that we have. However, if we haven’t photographed at your venue yet, we will do a thorough walk through prior to your big day.
